Welcome to my blog. The main reason for the existence of this blog is to document some of my projects and ideas, some may pan out, some may disappear into the aether. Some may be well thought out, some may be a shambles of random ideas that should never see the light of day, but hopefully along the way something I put up may help out somebody else or give them ideas for their own projects.
I'll try to post about once a week, it could be more, it could be less. The main aim however is to just have a bit of fun doing what I love.
Who Am I ?
My name is Grant Trebbin and I'm from Brisbane, Australia. Completing three years of an electrical engineering degree at the University of Queensland is one of my proudest (and most enjoyable) achievements. I find pulling things apart to see how they work preferable to actually using them in some cases, and am just transfixed by anything technical.
At University I gained knowledge in the following areas:
- Signal Processing
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Micro-controller circuit design and firmware
- PCB design and circuit prototyping.
Currently my job doesn't involve anything remotely technical, and that is something that I desire to change. My goal is to someday finish my degree, and get a more fulfilling job, but while I'm working towards that, I'll just keep studying whatever interests me and continue to build my knowledge base.

The best way to contact me is via the email address in my resume, but I'm reasonably active on Mastodon as well. Using Facebook, or YouTube is fine too, I may just take a little longer to respond.
